How to set up proxies in ZennoPoster

ZennoPoster gives you two entry points, and it pays to use the right one. For a single template, the Set Proxy action in ProjectMaker is enough: a Browser → Settings block before the first page load, a string in protocol://IP:port form, done. For anything running at scale, the built-in ProxyChecker is the actual proxy manager — you load the list into its Sources tab, it verifies every address on a schedule, and your templates don’t reference addresses at all: they reference a rule. A rule is a saved filter — anonymity level, response time, country, “passed Google” — and each thread pulls a live address matching it at runtime, so dead proxies never reach a running project.

Our packages slot into that pipeline cleanly. Export the list from the Dashboard in any field order ProxyChecker expects — IP:port or user:pass@IP:port — or skip credentials entirely: whitelist up to 5 source IPs per plan at no charge, and every thread on a whitelisted machine authenticates by origin, with no passwords stored in templates you might share or sell. Rotation lives in the project: bind the list to a table and pull a row per thread, or let the rule hand out addresses — one IP per thread, one thread per account is the layout that keeps registrations, posting, and SEO tasks from tripping over each other. Per-address connection limits are tiered by package size and sit among the highest on the market, which matters once ZennoPoster is running dozens of threads in parallel.

What the threads actually do sets the IP type. Volume work — registrations, scraping, SEO monitoring — runs economically on datacenter packages; long-lived accounts follow the one-address-per-profile principle from our social media proxies page. Packages start at 100 IPs, from $19/mo; specs are in the adjacent panel, and the table below compares the types side by side. For a step-by-step walkthrough — the Set proxy action, string formats, and feeding a list to threads — see the ZennoPoster proxy setup guide.

I use proxies for online games. I have been using the service for many months and I am satisfied with the quality and efficiency. Proxies work as they should and there are practically no disconnects. I recommend it, you will not regret it!

FD Felix Drechsler July 2025

Like the service! Responsive and fast support, affordable prices, convenient renewal panel and network selection. Just what I need!

KV Kornev Vitalii February 2026

I used the service for social networking. At first I bought it for a month, but now I will definitely renew it because the quality is really good! I am very glad that I finally found a really cool service!

RC Ryan Cooper March 2026

Proxies do not fail, and at this price it is a great gift. I buy them when I need them, usually once every few months. There have been a few minor glitches but the support here is above all praise. Responsive, kind, understanding and fast. All issues were resolved promptly. It is very nice to work with true professionals.

What are ProxyChecker rules and do I need them for a paid list?

A rule is a saved filter over ProxyChecker's verified pool — speed, anonymity, country, whether the address passed a specific site — and templates request proxies by rule name rather than by hardcoded address. With scraped public lists, rules are survival: most of the pool is dead at any moment. With a paid package the pool is stable, but rules still earn their place — filter by response time to keep the fastest addresses on latency-sensitive projects, or split one package between templates by country label. One habit to keep: let ProxyChecker's re-check cycle run, so an address that's temporarily down rotates out of the rule until it recovers.

How do I give each thread its own proxy?

Two idiomatic ways. Rule-based: point the template at a ProxyChecker rule, and each thread pulls its own live address at start — simplest, no project logic. Table-based: bind the exported list to a table and read one row per thread when you need the pairing to be deterministic — thread 5 always works from address 5, which is what account-bound projects want, because an account that hops between IPs looks worse than one that never moves. Size the list with headroom over the thread count so a failed address doesn't stall the queue; ZennoPoster simply takes the next one, and your package includes up to 3 list refreshes per 30 days to swap out addresses that specific targets have burned.

Whitelist or username/password — which fits ZennoPoster better?

Whitelist, in most setups. ZennoPoster typically runs on one or two dedicated machines or VPS instances, and whitelisting those IPs (up to 5 per plan, free) authenticates every project, thread, and ProxyChecker check they run — while the lists inside your templates stay bare IP:port with nothing secret in them. That matters in a niche where templates get shared, sold, and passed to freelancers. Username/password remains available on every address as the portable option: use it when projects run from machines whose IPs you can't predict, and keep the credentials in project variables rather than pasted into action blocks.

My ZennoPoster tasks fail even though the proxies check out. What should I look at?

Work through it in order. First, where it fails: if pages load but accounts trip verification, the IP is only one of the signals — fingerprint profiles and behavior pacing matter as much, and no proxy fixes a template that acts faster than a human. Second, what the target sees: registration-heavy sites score datacenter ranges harder than content sites; that's a product-class question — ISP addresses for the strict targets, not a bigger datacenter list. Third, the boring causes: per-site rate limits hit when threads share too few addresses, and a stale list re-check in ProxyChecker after a long pause weeds out addresses that died since the last run. If a specific target has burned part of the package, refresh the list — up to 3 refreshes per 30 days are included.
