Why choose a Chinese IP address?

Because the world’s largest e-commerce market is visible only from inside. The scale is worth spelling out: China’s online retail hit 15.97 trillion yuan (about $2.2 trillion) in 2025 — its thirteenth straight year at global number one, roughly 42% of worldwide e-commerce revenue against 22% for the US — and about a third of it moves through livestream commerce, a sales channel that barely exists in the West. Almost none of that is observable from abroad: Taobao and JD in retail, 1688 in wholesale, Baidu in search all trim, wall off, or degrade foreign traffic, so you get stub catalogs and hidden prices instead of the domestic storefront. One distinction matters here more than anywhere: mainland China versus Hong Kong. A Hong Kong IP sits outside the mainland network segment, and Chinese platforms treat it as foreign — for domestic storefronts you need mainland addresses, which is what this pool is.

Is this a proxy-shopping (daigou) service?

No — the word simply collides. Daigou and “proxy shopping” services are purchasing agents: people or companies that buy goods from Chinese platforms on your behalf and forward the parcels. What we sell is network infrastructure — Chinese IP addresses that your own browser or software connects through. If you want someone to buy and ship products, you need a purchasing agent. If you need to see Chinese platforms from a mainland vantage point — catalogs, factory prices, supplier profiles, your own listings — that’s what these packages do.

Will these proxies bypass the Great Firewall from inside China?

No — and we’d rather say it plainly than let you buy the wrong tool. This product points the other way: mainland exit IPs for looking into Chinese platforms from abroad. If you’re physically in China trying to reach blocked global services, a Chinese exit IP changes nothing — your traffic would still leave from inside the filtered segment — and cross-border circumvention is regulated territory we don’t operate in. For global targets, pick exits in other countries; that’s a different row of the same calculator, ordered from outside China.

Will regular global sites work through a Chinese address?

Don’t count on it. Traffic in China’s segment is filtered at the border, and some global services are unreachable or degraded from there — that’s a property of the geo, not our pool. Plan separately: China proxies for Chinese targets; everything else through addresses from other countries in the same order (World mix lets you combine both). Trying to make a Chinese IP your only exit for the whole internet usually ends in mysterious timeouts in the logs.

1688 and Taobao show a stub catalog from outside. Does a local IP fix that?

That’s exactly why teams buy Chinese addresses. Wholesale 1688 and retail Taobao treat local and foreign visitors differently: from abroad you get trimmed listings, hidden prices, and aggressive checks. From a Chinese IP you see the domestic storefront — full catalogs and factory pricing that sourcing runs on. One caveat: anti-bot on Chinese giants is among the world’s strictest; keep a conservative pace — 2–3 seconds per address — and don’t hammer a fresh list in the first hours.

Why monitor Baidu if Google exists?

Because Google doesn’t describe the Chinese market: inside the country people search on Baidu, and rankings follow different rules. If your product, client, or competitor sells to Chinese buyers, you monitor Baidu — results, ad blocks, local players in the top. From foreign IPs Baidu responds reluctantly and with the wrong context; a local IP removes that friction.

Do Chinese platforms ban harder than Western ones?

Harder and quieter. Instead of a straight 403 you often get empty responses, endless challenges, or degraded output with no explanation. The survival recipe is conservative: low per-address request rate, even distribution across the package, headers that match the locale — and spare addresses for refresh. List replacement is included: up to 3 times within 30 days; for China that’s routine overhead, not a luxury.
