Wired Proxies

Most often it is used to substitute your real IP address. An example of when this is needed: watching shows on Netflix that are only available to US users. A proxy can be used to make a user logging in from anywhere in the world will be identified by the IP address as a US user. Another option is to test your site through a local web server. A proxy in this case is used to intercept all the traffic in order to analyze it further for errors and failures.

In the browser menu (top right corner), find "Settings", and then, under "Network settings", go to "Settings" to select "Manual network configuration". Enter, depending on your network protocol, the IP address, the port and click on "OK". Open any website and in the window that appears, enter the proxy password and login, then click "Ok" again. A successful connection to the site means that the setup is successfully completed.

Combining Selenium with a Telegram Bot allows you to create an automated system that can interact with web pages and send updates to a Telegram chat. To achieve this, you'll need to follow these steps:

Create a Telegram Bot and get the API token.

Set up a Telegram Bot using the API token.

Use Selenium to interact with the web pages.

Send updates from the Selenium script to the Telegram Bot.

Here's a step-by-step guide:

Create a Telegram Bot and get the API token:

- Start a new chat with the BotFather (@BotFather) on Telegram.

- Send the command /newbot and follow the instructions to create a new bot.

- Note down the bot's username (e.g., YourBotName).

- Send the command /setname YourBotName to set the bot's name.

- Send the command /token to receive the API token. Save the API token securely.

Set up a Telegram Bot using the API token:

- Install a Telegram bot library, such as python-telegram-bot: pip install python-telegram-bot.

- Create a new Python script and import the required libraries:

Use Selenium to interact with the web pages:

Create a Selenium script to interact with the web pages as needed. For example, you can use the script to scrape data, log in to a website, or perform other actions.

Send updates from the Selenium script to the Telegram Bot:

Modify the echo function in the Telegram Bot script to accept data from the Selenium script and send it as an update. You can pass the data as a string or use other formats like JSON.

Here's an example of sending data as a string:

Remember to replace "your_telegram_bot_api_token" with your actual API token. Also, ensure that the bot has the necessary permissions to send messages in the chat where you want to receive updates.

To hide the geckodriver.exe console in Selenium, you can use the subprocess module in Python to start the geckodriver.exe process without a console window.

Here's an example of how to do it:

In this example, we use the subprocess.Popen() function to start the geckodriver.exe process without a console window. The stdout and stderr parameters are set to subprocess.DEVNULL to suppress any output from the process.

After starting the geckodriver.exe process, you can create a Firefox webdriver instance and interact with the browser as usual.

Keep in mind that hiding the console window might make it harder to debug issues that arise during the execution of your Selenium script. Consider keeping the console window visible during development and testing, and hiding it only in the final production environment.

The current version of Skype does not have built-in functionality to work with proxies. That is, it must be configured at the operating system level. The messenger is available for Linux, Windows, MacOS and mobile platforms.
