If you have bought a proxy from us, then before you start using it you have to bind the service to the IP address of the device where you are going to use the proxy. What it is and how to do it is told here.
Setting up a proxy server in Google Chrome is elementary and almost independent of the operating system - Mac OS or Windows 7 / Windows 10, the only difference is the interface.
1. Open Google Chrome
2. Open the Chrome menu (the three vertical dots at the top right)
3. Press settings
4. Click "System" in the menu on the left side of the window that opens (the shortcut to the menu item is chrome://settings/system)
5. Next "Open proxy server settings for computer"
The proxy server system window opens in front of you, scroll down and you see the settings window, where you can set or change the proxy
Move the slider to on (normal pressure), enter the obtained IP address in our system.
Note that Google Chrome on Windows does not support SOCKS5, only HTTPS.
If your service is tied to a dynamic IP address (a regular home ISP), then use port 8080, in which case your proxies will work with authorization (you will need to enter the username and password from your personal account from your service) - https://papaproxy.net/panel/clientarea.php?action=products. Just go to the active package and you will see all the information you need.
If you have a static IP (connected additional service to the home Internet or you work from a remote server), then use port 8085, you do not need to enter a username and password. But if you change your IP address, you will have to bind the service to the new IP again.
The configuration is complete. Click "Save" and use the proxy.
You will see the following dialog box
Check the HTTPS box if you want to use this type of proxy or SOCKS.
Enter the IP address and port.
If your service is tied to a dynamic IP address (regular home ISP), then use port 8080 for HTTPS proxy and port 1080 for SOCKS5 proxy, in which case your proxies will work with authorization. For faster login/password entry, click on the "Proxy requires password" checkbox and enter the username and password of your service from your personal cabinet - https://papaproxy.net/panel/clientarea.php?action=products
If you have static IP (additional service connected to home Internet or you work from remote server), in that case use port 8085 for HTTPS-proxy and port 1085 for SOCKS5-proxy, you will not need to enter login and password. However, if you change IP address, you will have to re-bind the service to the new IP.
Click on the lock and click "OK" to complete the configuration.
In the proxy server settings, you only need to move the slider to the "off" state (inactive state) and the use of proxies on your device will stop.
