Before activating a proxy server in Opera, it is recommended that you clear your browsing history and cookies of sites. This is necessary to ensure that information about the computer is not transmitted during further connections. To do this, it is enough to follow the algorithm:
Open the browser.
Click on the opera icon in the upper left corner.
Hover your mouse cursor over the "History" item.
Use the option "Clear history of visits".
After that you need to specify parameters of the proxy server. To do this, perform the following actions:
Open your browser.
Click on the Opera icon in the top left corner.
Click on "Settings".
Select the "Advanced" option.
Scroll down to the "System" tab.
Click on "Open proxy settings for computer".
Click on "Network settings".
Activate the "Use a proxy server" option.
In the window that opens, specify the IP address of the proxy server. Enter the address in the field of the protocol to which the proxy server belongs. You can get this information from your provider.
Click "OK" to save your settings.
Connect your computer to a functioning router, then open any browser, go to the settings and enable manual configuration. Specify the IP, gateway with DNSI and subnet mask in the appropriate fields. In the "Home network" tab, under "Computers", go to "IPMP Proxy" and turn off this function. Under "System", click on the gear symbol, and under "Components", specify the Proxy UDP HTTP utility and click "Refresh".
Disabling popups using Selenium can be done by interacting with the popup elements or by using JavaScript to close them. Here's an example using Python and Chrome:
from selenium import webdriver
from selenium.webdriver.common.by import By
from selenium.webdriver.support.ui import WebDriverWait
from selenium.webdriver.support import expected_conditions as EC
driver = webdriver.Chrome()
driver.get("https://www.example.com")
# Locate the popup element, if applicable
# For example, if the popup has a button with the ID "close-button"
popup_button = driver.find_element(By.ID, "close-button")
# Click the popup button to close the popup
popup_button.click()
# Alternatively, use JavaScript to close the popup
# driver.execute_script("window.close();")
In this example, the script locates the popup button (if applicable) and clicks on it to close the popup. If the popup does not have a specific button or element to close it, you can use JavaScript to close the popup:
driver.execute_script("window.close();")
This script will close the current window, effectively closing the popup. Note that using JavaScript to close a popup might not work in all cases, as some websites might have additional logic to prevent the popup from being closed programmatically.
Keep in mind that some websites might have multiple popups or modal windows. In such cases, you may need to modify the script to handle each popup individually or use a loop to close all popups.
Remember to replace "https://www.example.com" and "close-button" with the actual values for the website you are working with. Also, ensure that the browser driver (e.g., ChromeDriver for Google Chrome) is installed and properly configured in your environment.
In Windows 10 you need to go to "Settings", go to "Network and Internet", open the tab "Proxy" and make the necessary settings for the connection (under "Manual", the item should also be made active).
Although free proxies are popular, they are far from being flawless in their work. Many of their IP addresses are blacklisted by popular resources, and the data transfer speed and stability are very unreliable. When choosing a proxy, keep in mind that the new version of IPv6 is not supported by most websites. Note also that proxies are divided into private and public, statistical and dynamic, and support different network protocols.
