Proxy Advice

Open the control panel of your computer, find and select the item "Network connection", and then click "Show network connections", "Local network connections" and "Properties". If there is a tick next to "Obtain an IP address automatically", then no dedicated proxy has been used. If you see numbers there, it will be your address.

You can bypass the blocking of the messenger by using the built-in proxy server in the application. To do this, go to "Settings" and then to the section "Data and storage". Here, in the "Proxy settings" tab, you will find the "Add proxy" item. A shield icon on the top line of the menu will indicate that the proxy is enabled.

In Selenium, you can find out the URL of a newly opened window by switching to that window and retrieving its URL. Here's a step-by-step guide in Python:

1. Switch to the New Window

After opening a new window, you need to switch the focus of the WebDriver to that window.

This will print the URL of the new window. You can then store it in a variable or use it as needed in your script.

3. Switch Back to the Original Window (Optional)

If you need to switch back to the original window after retrieving the URL from the new window, you can do so using a similar process.

driver.switch_to.window(original_window_handle)

Replace 0 with the index of the original window's handle in the window_handles list.

Make sure to adjust the code based on the actual actions and elements in your application that trigger the opening of a new window.

Open the torrent and through the "Menu" enter the subsection "Connection". Under "Proxy" choose a proxy type (Socks5 is best). In the box "Proxy" put IP address of your proxy, and in the "Port" box, respectively, the port of your proxy. If you are going to use proxy authentication, you will have to give your name and password in the corresponding fields. Click "Apply".

Not all routers support proxies, this nuance should be clarified with the manufacturer. But many of the routers from Asus, TP-Link, Xiaomi work well with this type of connection. All this is configured through the web interface. By the way, for some routers, custom Padavan firmware is also available. The proxy works best there, especially in the presence of the OpenVPN plugin.
