The main task is to monitor traffic on the local network, as all requests will be handled by an organized proxy. Most often it is used to block access to certain resources in offices.

You can check the validity of proxies by using special software and a proxy checker. These tools not only check if the proxy is working, but also inform you about possible blocking by various platforms and social networks. Online services (checkers) also provide information related to ping, speed, proxy anonymity level, and geo. The combination of all these data allows for the most objective assessment of a proxy server's performance.

Go to "Settings" of the torrent, and then in the settings menu, select the subsection "Connection", which contains network connection settings. Under "Proxy" choose the type of your proxy (Socks5 proxy is recommended), then enter the IP address and proxy port in the appropriate fields, then click "Change". Now everything is ready - the torrent works through a proxy server.

To address the "ERROR conda.core.link:_execute(637)" issue when installing Scrapy (Python 3.7) on Windows 8:

- Update conda: conda update conda
- Create a new virtual environment: conda create -n myenv python=3.7 and then conda activate myenv
- Install Scrapy using conda: conda install scrapy

- Alternatively, try installing Scrapy using pip: pip install scrapy
- Update Anaconda: conda update anaconda
- Temporarily disable antivirus/firewall.
- Verify network connection stability.

A proxy can be used for anonymous web surfing. After all, the connection is made through an intermediate server. And all the sites visited by the user will see the IP address of the proxy server, not the user himself. It can also be used to access resources that are only available to the citizens of a particular country.
